''Traces of My Lipstick'' is the third and final studio album by American girl group Xscape released on May 12, 1998, under the So So Def label. As with previous albums ''Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha'' (1993) and ''Off the Hook'' (1995), the album was chiefly produced by Jermaine Dupri with Manuel Seal, Jr. and Daryl Simmons, with addition production from Babyface, Joe Thomas, Warryn Campbell and Keith Sweat. ==Chart performance== The group's first album in three years, ''Traces of My Lipstick'' debuted at number twenty-eight on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and number six on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, lower than their two previous albums. It eventually received platinum certification by the RIAA for more than one million copies shipped to stores. ''Traces of My Lipstick'' spawned two singles: The album's lead single, "The Arms of the One Who Loves You", became one of Xscape's biggest commercial successes in years, reaching the top ten on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 at number seven and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks charts at number four. The second single "My Little Secret" received the same success on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 peaking at number 9 and reached number two on the "Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks" chart. The follow-up single, "Softest Place on Earth", was a radio airplay single that never made it on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 but reached number twenty-eight on the "Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks" chart. The album also contains the "Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks" number five hit, a cover of Atlantic Starr's "Am I Dreamin' " which was featured and released by male R&B group Ol' Skool and their founder Keith Sweat earlier.
